No, I haven’t become some sort of heretic. As yesterday was the Feast of the Annunciation, we catholics were permitted to feast on cows, pigs, chickens et cetera. In fact, it would be a terrible shame not to eat meat on such an important feast!

Here’s a drawing of the Annunciation by a Japanese fellow named Sagaki Keita:

Here’s what makes it so awesome:

Be sure to check out the rest of this fellow’s artwork!

Found through Lines and Colors.

Here’s a fun thing I did the other day:
...And I'm Larry the cucumber!
It’s a variation of the “KEEP CALM AND CARRY ON” poster from 1939

Cheers!

I’ve got a terrible headache at the moment. Maybe it’s from all of these crosseye-view stereographic images I’ve been looking at lately. Or maybe I’m getting sick again. Or maybe it’s because I’ve just spent the last hour putting stuff up on my family’s Etsy store…

OH YEAH! That’s what I was going to blog about :)

Here’s what there is (pictures=links):

the Wandering Windmill

Great Scott! A post!

Two weeks ago I got a new sketchbook. On Tuesday I filled it. Out of the 200 pages of rubbish which I hope nobody (including myself) shall ever see again, there stand these few triumphs.

Mr Toad:

“I say you fellows!”

Back on February 16th, we got some nice, splashy, melty weather :)

And lastly here’s a self-portrait:

I’m not quite sure if this is “As I am” or “As I would like to be“. Maybe it’s somewhere in between…

In other news, I got all seven volumes of Flight recently. Some of my favorite artists now include Kazu Kibuishi, Regan Lodge, and of course, Ben Hatke and Doug TenNapell.

Thanks for reading!
