February Sketches

Great Scott! A post!

Two weeks ago I got a new sketchbook. On Tuesday I filled it. Out of the 200 pages of rubbish which I hope nobody (including myself) shall ever see again, there stand these few triumphs.

Back on February 16th, we got some nice, splashy, melty weather :)

I’ts a bipedal vehicle that’s orange and rotund. (although I painted it in sepia colours here)

I’m not quite sure if this is “As I am” or “As I would like to be“. Maybe it’s somewhere in between…

In other news, I got all seven volumes of Flight recently. Some of my favorite artists now include Kazu Kibuishi, Regan Lodge, and of course, Ben Hatke and Doug TenNapell.
