Hello Gaelen! I’m a new reader, but I just thought I’d pop in and say how refreshing I find your style. I love all of your GKC related art especially.
I’m working towards becoming an illustrator, and you’re quite an inspiration.

Am I a fan of any Ghibli films? I should jolly well think so! I’ve seen Totoro, Castle in the Sky, Kiki’s Delivery Service and Ponyo, as well as a bit of Howl’s Moving Castle (I’m planning to lay hold of the rest of them sometime).
I’m interested in children’s entertainment, and I find the good Mr. Miyazaki to be particularly inspiring.

I’ve read Howl’s Moving Castle (great book), but I haven’t seen the animation. Totoro and Kiki’s Delivery Service are two of my favorite movies, though. I haven’t seen Ponyo or the new Ghibli film, unfortunately.
